All meetings are on Saturdays, opening at 1.30pm for 2pm start. Bring sandwiches if you wish - hot drinks will be provided. We usually finish around 4.15 - 4.30.


9 February
“Constructive & Destructive Religion - A Response to the New Atheism”
Discussion to be led by Helen Bellamy
WAKEFIELD Westgate Unitarian Chapel (next to Westgate railway station, with a small carpark. NB not to be confused with Kirkgate station.)

19 April
“Metaphor in Religion”
Discussion to be led by Carol Sherrard
BRADFORD Central Library (Princes Way, next to National Media Museum:
walkable from the rail/bus station; limited parking behind the Library, multi-
storey carpark on nearby Thornton Road). We will be in Meeting Room 2, second floor.


10 May
Excursion to SALTAIRE
with the Sheffield SoF Group - Titus Salt’s
model factory village near BRADFORD. Salt’s Mill and environs is now an
attractive tourist area, with a river park, art galleries, bookshops, boutiques,
restaurants and an Italianate church.


21 June
"Looking at Spiritualism in a Post-Modern Era"

BRADFORD Central Library
The Library is on Princes Way, next to the National Media Museum. It is walkable (10-15 minutes) from the Interchange rail/bus station. There is limited parking behind the Library, and a (better) multi-storey carpark on nearby Thornton Road. The Meeting Room we have been assigned will be posted in the foyer - or ask at Reception.



22 November
"Does Jesus matter any more?" Discussion to be led by David Boulton


YORK Quaker Meeting House (Friargate, near Clifford’s Tower. There is car
parking nearby, but it is usually full and difficult to reach due to extreme
traffic congestion in York. It is strongly recommended to use the excellent
Park & Ride services, or public transport)
